Rajeev Jain leads the FLCCT Board of Directors as President in 2015 after serving in the role of Vice-President in 2014. Rajeev joined FLCCT’s Board of Directors in September 2012. Outside of FLCCT, he has worked in various business and technical roles related to strategic planning, finance and marketing in organizations of various sizes ranging from entrepreneurial to Fortune 25 firms. Michael Cavazos joined the FLCCT board in July 2014. Michael is retired after spending over 30 years working in the high tech industry, most recently with Advanced Micro Devices. Over the course of his career, Michael held several positions as a software developer and manager, with specific expertise in software program management. He received a bachelor’s degree  in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. Dodie Brown serves as FLCCT’s treasurer in addition to her work as Chief Financial Officer at Caritas, where she oversees accounting, finance, grants, HR and IT. She holds a BBA from Tarleton State University and has over 25 years of nonprofit experience including tax and audit work in public accounting. She led their effort to plan, build out, and open that organization’s first branch location and has also improved operations and increased efficiencies of the leadership team. Prior to that, Dodie led accounting and finance teams for Goodwill Industries of Central Texas. The experience she gained there developing and teaching leadership classes will be valuable to FLCCT. Lourdes is a journalist and holds a BS degree in Communications. She worked in several newspapers and PR firms in Lima, Peru. Because of her work in politics and Social Issues she has always been involved in philanthropic causes.  After moving to the USA, she has published as a freelance writer for the newspaper Ahora Si! and also worked as a Hotel Management Consultant. Lourdes started to volunteer at a young age and in Austin she has served as a Board Member for local non profits and organizations including Seton Hospitals where she was Editor in Chief of Brackenridge newsletter and People’s Community Clinic where she served as Vice Chair. Matthew Vitlin joined the FLCCT Board in the spring of 2017 to lead the volunteer training program. His work as a financial adviser at Reliant Wealth Management gives him an appreciation for people’s needs to understand personal money management. Matthew brings a good background in business strategy, accounting, and not-for-profit organizations to FLCCT. Michael Helfereich joined the FLCCT Board in 2017. Michael is a business operations professional with a keen focus on end results. After 20+ years in management and business & technology consulting, Michael left corporate life to focus full time on real estate. He currently serves in the role of VP and COO for a small real estate investment company located in Austin, TX and a licensed real estate agent in the Austin area focused on residential sales. His success has allowed him to give back. He is passionate about the future of his community, and volunteers for a local NPO promoting health & human services for people living with HIV & AIDS as well as serving as a volunteer instructor for FLCCT.
